- Prepare the strawberry layer. Blend the strawberries with 1 cup of the measured lemonade until completely smooth. Strain the mixture to remove the seeds so they do not clog the dispenser.
- Pour the strawberry puree into the bottom of the open beverage dispenser. Slowly pour in the grenadine
- Prepare the mango layer. Blend the thawed mango with 2 cups of the measured lemonade until completely smooth and pourable.
- Slowly pour the mango puree over the back of a large spoon or down the inside wall of the dispenser. This helps the mango settle above the darker strawberry-grenadine layer.
- In a large pitcher, combine the remaining 13 cups lemonade with the vodka. Slowly pour the lemonade-vodka mixture over the mango layer. Keep the pour gentle so the red, orange, and golden colors remain visible.Add the ice and lemon slices carefully. Do not stir.
- Serve immediately in 10-ounce glasses. The first drinks will have the strongest sunset gradient, and the layers will gradually blend as guests continue pouring.
The purees must be completely smooth and pourable. Strain the strawberry puree, and thin either puree with a little additional lemonade if necessary so the dispenser spout does not clog.
